Spinach dip in sourdough bread

Ingredients

Directions

  • 1 cup low fat sour cream
  • 1 cup Best Foods mayonnaise (if you substitute another brand, ensure that sugar is well down the list of ingredients)
  • 1 packet of frozen, chopped spinach, thawed and drained
  • 1 packet of Spring Vegetable dry soup mix
  • 1 round bread loaf, sourdough is best

Combine sour cream, mayonnaise, spinach, and soup mix in a medium bowl. Cover and chill for at least 2 hours.

Cut the top off of the bread loaf and cut the top into chunks. Scoop chunks out the base to make a hollow bowl. Arrange the bread chunks around a serving dish with the bread bowl in the middle.

Fill the bowl with the dip and eat with the bread chunks or with veggies for dipping. When done, eat the bowl (it's the best part).
